Is CCSVI Junk Science OR Is Rose Just Bitter & Twisted?

It seem wherever I go on Face Book these days, to catch up on the world of CCSVI, I see postings from a gent who claims to be a medical doctor. I Googled Colin Rose and the results are a practicing cardiologist from Montreal, PQ who went to McGill University. According to this article Dr. Rose is against angioplasty. Click Here Another search says Rose is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill. Another search brought me to a web site called " Panaceia or Hygeia". There was an article dated April 10, 2010 and it prattles on about how ignorant Avis Favaro of CTV is for bringing Dr. Zamboni's theory to the public. He jabbers on further claiming Kuwait can afford to fund a scientifically absurd treatment, while bemoaning the Quebec tax hike to cover health costs. This certainly sounds like it could be the same Colin Rose that creeps around Face Book all day.

One thing I don't get is if Rose is practicing cardiology and busy on his web site, how does he find the time to slither in and out of all the various FB CCSVI groups and get any work done? What always strikes me as extremely peculiar is if Rose on FB is actually Dr. Colin Rose then why doesn't he fund a study on CCSVI or at least join one and then prove that it is indeed "junk science" once and for all?

I don't know about you but when I'm on FB I get so sick of reading his whinny, jibber- jabber, naysaying I could just puke.

  1. Maybe he's miffed that being a cardiologist and expert on vasculature, he completely missed something that's been under his nose all this time. Had he maybe noticed, perhaps he'd have all the glory instead of Zamboni?

  2. Wow, how sick am I?
I want to find this character on FB now and see how creepy he really is. What character, I'm not speaking (legally) about anybody in particular, just my own illness. Ha ha.

But I try to remember that a lot of people were afraid to sail beyond the edge of the planet, back when it was FLAT, and they weren't evil, just ignorant. I'm glad you checked up on Dr. X, information is good for everyone! Sounds like he should consider a press agent, at LEAST? Ha ha.

  5. Hey Ginger Just finished reading the article in Macleans magazine published 26 April. Dr Godley stated that he has done a procedure under the radar at BC hospital and billed as an angioplasty. He also said he will be starting liberation procedures in May 2010 at False Creek clinic. When we phoned tonight the clinic informed us that the article was taken out of context. Thought you might find this interesting as you were featured in the article as well Kas
